I love elephants. I always love to go see them whenever I’m back home in Thailand; however, so do the millions of tourists that visit Thailand each year.

Having not written any essay in over a year, I became extremely uncomfortable putting myself out there again. It became unusually difficult to write about myself, especially my linguistic background but it slowly became apparent how languages have influenced my growth.

To me, there’s a difference between travelling and exploring. Exploring is about adventuring to parts unknown, revelling in foreign things, encountering new personalities, and learning from experiences.

A bit of a spontaneous travel, but a fateful encounter nonetheless. Moments like these remind me of why I love to document and explore.
